I am A.G. Smith

 

I tell the stories of individuals and communities with words, photographs and videos.  I am a 2011 University of Florida graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunication-Production. 

 

I have covered events and profiled individuals in the City of Miami Gardens for a year. I delight in speaking to residents and learning how unique and special they are. Most of my photos are featured on the city’s Facebook page. My favorite moments to capture are with children in their element, playing on playgrounds or just creating fun wherever they are. 

 

I feel more connected to my community through the conversations I have with individuals. I hear their stories and neighbors who seemed like strangers become acquaintances.
